This newly hatched baby chicken is a Rhode Island Red from an egg incubated in the
house. Some baby chicks are hatched from their eggs by the hens, but sometimes we gather
the eggs in a large group to incubate when we need to add to the chicken population
quickly. Three weeks later you have baby chicks to feed and keep warm.
